Cape Cod artist, Sharon Hayes, creates contemporary abstract paintings in oil, acrylic and encaustic. Her work is influenced by changing tidelines, by the reflection of the sky on water and by rust, erosion, peeling paint and patinas of all kinds. Her work has been shown at the Cape Cod National Seashore, Provincetown Art Association Museum, Castle Hill Center for the Arts, Galley West Art Gallery in Orleans and at Yankee Ingenuity in Chatham, MA.
