Green License Plate Fish

This meticulously crafted piece was created from a reclaimed 1926 Michigan license plate with reclaimed steel eye, tail fin and jaw with weathered copper fins. A truly special piece, this folk art fish is one of a kind. Made on Cape Cod. By elevating recycling to an art form, master craftsman Ken Stevens has perfected the art of incorporating locally found worn, weathered and discarded nautical, architectural and natural elements into whimsical sculptures. Last one! Artist has now retired. Artist's mark on reverse. Wired for wall hanging. 26" wide x 10" high.
