Antique Starboard Lantern

c. 1895–1910. National Marine Lamp Co., New York. Galvanized steel body with silver-wash finish with hand-blown Kelly-green flat glass lens and iron guards. An early workboat navigational light from America’s pre-Fresnel era. Lens is in remarkable condition and body is structurally sound (original burner included displaying “National Marine Lamp” on brass wick turner; steel oil tank is significantly corroded). Approx. 13 ½”H to fixed ring x 7” W x 5” D.
