Cape Cod artist, Sharon Hayes, creates contemporary abstract paintings in oil, acrylic and encaustic. Her work is influenced by changing tidelines, by the reflection of the sky on water and by rust, erosion, peeling paint and patinas of all kinds. Her work has been shown at the Cape Cod Museum of Art, Provincetown Art Association Museum, Castle Hill Center for the Arts, A Gallery in Provincetown and at Yankee Ingenuity in Chatham, MA.
